Stimulating Roundtables with Distinguished Guests and Moderators

The Reflections Town Hall Series plans two events; The Canadian Caper and Shadows of our Future. The invited chair CBC’s Don Newman has been chosen for his journalistic integrity.  He has the proven ability to delve into the complicated issues from the public viewpoint and spark lively and thought provoking debate while remaining impartial and non-biased.

The Canadian Caper will focus on the Iranian Hostage Crisis and how officials from Canada and the U.S. joined together despite the barriers in an intelligence operation more titillating than the average Tom Clancy novel. This is a chance for those in attendance to join in conversation with those whose leadership and vision helped to shape this gem of our shared intelligence past in a current and frank reflection that can help to shape the direction of our intelligence future.

Shadows of our Future gathers former heads of Canadian and American intelligence bureaus among others in a conversation bound to enthrall attendees.  Audience focus will be drawn through the reflection of the historical impact of  the function of intelligence over the past and on into the future.
